Tony Novo recently completed his second season as the General Manager/Vice President of Business Operations of the New Jersey Ironmen.  He came to the Ironmen in 2007 with over 20 years of banking experience, having most recently been employed as a Senior Loan Officer for JP Morgan Chase in the retail residential lending area since 2000. Novo has been selected to Chase’s Elite Leaders Club for several years. Prior to Chase, Novo worked for United National Bank in central New Jersey as a Branch Manager and Residential Lender from 1995-2000. Novo started his banking career with Barnett Bank in south Florida from 1987 to 1995 as a Mortgage Lender and Branch Manager. Novo has been a business owner in various areas including construction, retail sporting goods and real estate investments.

Over the last 30 years, Novo has coached soccer at various levels including ODP, high school and college. He has most recently coached youth soccer with the Watchung Hills Soccer Association where he also serves on the Travel Board. MNJSYA, JAGS and MAPS are a few of the local youth soccer organizations to which he has been associated.

Novo graduated from Jacksonville University with a B.S. in Marketing. He played four years at J.U. and showed leadership as captain for his final two years. He was also named to the All Sun Belt Conference Team for three years. He then went on to play professionally for three years with the Jacksonville TeaMen and the Fort Lauderdale Sun. While playing for the Jacksonville TeaMen, Novo was instrumental in winning the 1983 ASL Championship.

Novo resides in Warren, New Jersey, with his wife, Kimberly, and three daughters. He takes an active role in serving the community on the Warren Business and Professional Association, Warren Recreation, Young Life and Network Professionals of New Jersey.
